Luna Elementary School

Luna Elementary School

Luna

With the guidance of our abettor, allies and specifically our teachers. Who always reminded us students that the only treasure that cant be stolen from us is our knowledge and education. No one can defeat us when we are open minded and educated person. Putting fire on our desires to learn how to read, write and communicate with others. This is the first steps to our dreams. head up high and look forward to the good future. Welcome to our elementary days. Where this beloved school plays an important role in reaching our goals and outlook in life to become a better us in the future.

Alma Mater

For those who already been in this Alma Mater, as you read this posting. I can tell that you will be reminiscing the days when we used to be in a sarcastic mode when teachers don’t dismiss class at the right time. Based on timetables sometimes this makes us anxious. Because we are so eager to get out and play and scared to missed or not being part of the games. Those times when teachers let some students have to stay in class unless they can read the writings on the board.

That moment when we are punished by asking us to “seat in the air “if we do something naughty. The moment when we used to be like sulk babies over a simple conflict. But you know what, apart from all those things I can say that’s the best time ever in my life. When we used to play as a child with no stresses in life. All we care about is to have fun and that is the primary school days. Those moments will be truly and always be carved and remembered in our subconscious minds.

The times when every day is fun, and even now for how many years have passed. I still loved going back and visit this school Luna Elementary School where my childhood character was molded. Thank you to my teachers and to all my classmates and friends. Part of my childhood that will surely never be forgotten.

Our Luna Trip this year

Our Trip to Luna

Luna

We visited our second home this year Luna Cagayan de Oro Mindanao. Stayed for 4 weeks with the wife’s family. It was a great trip once again looking forward to it in a couple of years again.

Had planned on doing the rounds but just didn’t eventuate. I was pretty much a hermit but loved every second of living working and relaxing up in the mountain ranges. We did go down into Cagayan de Oro a few times by private car to buy things. Shopping and building materials, after spending a few hours in CDO.

I just couldn’t wait to get out just insanely HOT and miserable. You could notice the difference driving to Luna and the Temperatures would drop a degree every kilometer.

September 4, 2014 by Ma. Theresa Leave a Comment

JEJORS Water System luna

JEJORS Water System

Looking back many years ago, people of Luna suffers from a lack of safe water for drinking and for daily use that consumes water like washing the clothes, personal hygiene, farm use, for cooking and for drinking. Remembering those days when we have to walk 500 meters with a pushing cart with empty gallons of container traveling on a very sloppy and high hills just to get and fetch water every day. It was a tough life, especially during summer where the spring runs dry and we have to wait in line to fill up one gallon of water in one hour. The people of Luna wanted to change, so people changed their government. Since the takeover of Mayor Redentor Salvaleon, the water system has started.

Projects

Then comes the JEJORS water system which provides water supply to the whole municipality of Claveria. JEJORS water system is one of the projects of the municipal mayor in Claveria Misamis Oriental , Honorable Mayor Redentor Salvaleon. This is located at Luna, Claveria, Misamis Oriental. This is the main source of water of the people in Claveria. It contributes a very big help to Claveriahanons. This was built in order for the Claveriahanons to have an easy life in terms of doing an activities that needs water just like washing clothes, taking a bath as well as in farming. Water in JEJORS water system is clean so it can be used for drinking.
Human body needs water. Without water, people cannot survive. Because of JEJORS water system, Claveriahanons will survive and have a healthy life. The water are based and mainly from Mat-I rivers and connecting rivers alongside, then its being processed and purified for drinking in Luna where the main reservoir is located. As of today, people not only in Luna but to all people of Claveria have benefited the new water system. No one can complain anymore of scarcity of water, this time abundance is what its like.
