I am Mylaine Malaran, maybe some of you my neighbours in Luna knows me. If you play suertres lotto then maybe you have met me at Mr. And Mrs. Pablo Malaran’s residence in Zone 2, Luna. I used to help my mother in tallying suertres numbers.:)
Well, I just want to share a story about my visit to Australia.
I was a first year college student in MOSCAT, studying Agriculture. When my sister “gagang” invited me to go and visit her and at the same time give her a hand with her two kids twins while she studying. So i grab the chance and I say yes.
I went to Australia last April 11, 2014. My visa was as a tourist visitor, as a tourist visitor I am only allowed to stay for about three months only.
I did enjoy my stay in Australia. It was a really big country and the viewss are flat,,not much mountains to view. The weather was a bit chilly and cold when I was there because it was autumn. I was so lucky I finally experienced the weather autumn that I can only hear and saw on TV. I have experienced winter too , all I can say is that if our beloved hometown Luna is cold, it is much colder during winter in Australia. Imagine the lowest temperatire is 4degress Celcius. It feels like the coldness goes deep to the bones. The coldness is so unexplainable for me as a first timer. I rarely gets out of the house because of the temperature. I need to wear three pairs of thick jackets just to keep warm.
I also enjoyed spending time with my “makukulit” nephew and niece. My English speaking was put to test too, although I wasn’nt that good in English, I have no choice because everyone in the house is English speaking. It is still a good opportunity for to enhance my speaking skills.
I am bound to come back there in our hometown Luna, Claveria by July 11,2014 but we are planning to extend my stay herein Australia, so I still dont know when is the exact date of my homecoming…
